Privacy Policy

Effective 14 October 2026

Lumiku is a number-tile strategy game. We collect as little as possible and we never sell your data. This page explains what the app keeps, what our server stores, and what our advertising partner, Google, may collect.

What stays on your device

Your settings, statistics, achievements, match history, streak and any saved practice game are stored on your device.

Online play and your game account

When you play online, add friends or save your progress, the app creates an anonymous account: a random identifier, with no email address, phone number or password. Our server stores that identifier, your display name, avatar and friend code, the rooms you join, the moves of your online games, your coins, unlocked looks and passes, and a cloud copy of your progress. This is used only to run the game, keep it fair and restore your progress. It is hosted by Supabase.

Sign in with Apple

If you choose Save progress with Apple, your game account is linked to your Apple ID so you can restore it on a new device. If you let Apple share your first name, we use it only to suggest your display name. You can hide your email; we do not need it.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple. Our server checks Apple's signed transaction and records what you bought so it can be restored. We never see your payment details.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, we store your device's push token to tell you when it is your turn or a friend invites you. Nothing else is sent.

Advertising

Lumiku shows ads from Google AdMob to players without the Lumiku Pass: a full-screen ad between some games, and an optional video you can choose to watch for bonus coins. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking when your iPhone asks), approximate location derived from your IP address, ad interactions and diagnostic data. If you do not allow tracking, ads are not personalised. In the UK, the EU and Switzerland, Google's consent message lets you choose, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices. When you watch a rewarded ad, Google tells our server your game account identifier so we can pay the coins. The Lumiku Pass removes the ads between games. Google's policy: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

What we do not collect

No contacts, photos, precise location or analytics SDKs. We do not sell your data.

Retention and deletion

Game records are kept only as long as needed to run the service. To have your data deleted, email us with the display name or friend code you use in the game.

Children

Lumiku is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
