PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: October 2026

Short version: Bid Wars has no accounts and keeps your game on your phone. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects some device and usage data to show and measure ads. Buying any topic pack turns ads off.

What stays on your device

The names you type for the two players, the match score, your game statistics, your settings and a record of which topic packs you own are saved on your phone only. This information is never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app removes it.

Advertising

If you have not bought anything, Bid Wars shows an ad between some rounds, and offers an optional ad you can watch to try a locked topic pack once. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show, limit and measure ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA, only if you allow tracking), IP address and approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Google handles this data under its own policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

On iPhone, the app asks for permission before any tracking. If you decline, you still get ads, but they are not personalised and your advertising identifier is not shared. You can change this any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland the app first asks for your consent through Google's consent form.

Purchases

Optional topic packs are sold as in-app purchases, processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details, name or Apple Account. The app only learns from Apple which purchases are on your account so it can unlock them. Any purchase also removes ads.

What we do not do

Children

Bid Wars is a general-audience game and is not directed at children. Ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
