Football trivia and puzzles — a new set every day.
Email is the fastest way to reach Footies support.
lafyalmutlaq@gmail.comYou can delete your online data from inside the app:
This deletes the anonymous online account, its League memberships and results, and the push-notification token, and clears local app data.
Progress is stored on the device. It does not transfer between iPhones, and it is removed if the app is deleted. Reinstalling does not restore previous streaks.
Check that notifications are allowed for Footies in iOS Settings → Notifications → Footies, and that the topics you want are switched on inside the app. Alerts are opt-in for each topic separately.
League codes are three letters and are case-insensitive. Make sure every member is on the same app version and has a working internet connection when joining.
Every club in Footies is drawn as its kit — the app draws the shirt itself from the club's colours. No club badge artwork is used anywhere in the app. This keeps Footies clear of the licensing that club crests carry, and means every club is presented the same way rather than some having a logo and others a placeholder.
Who Are Ya?, Football Bingo, Fan Favourites, Guess the Club and Perfect Player are designed but not playable in this version. They are shown so the roster is honest about what is planned.
Version 1.0 is iPhone only. The interface is a fixed phone-width layout, and iPad support will come only after a real tablet layout is built and tested.
Footies builds puzzles from a public football dataset, and some records contain errors — a missing transfer, a wrong nationality, an outdated squad. If a puzzle looks wrong, email the game name, the date, and what you expected. These reports are the main way the data gets corrected.
The full Footies Privacy Policy explains what is stored on the device, what online features store, and how to delete it.
